What this mold is for
We build molds for aluminum HPDC components, with part geometry and application requirements confirmed from your drawings. Casting alloy choice (aluminum alloys as specified for the part) is separate from mold steel selection for the die.
Materials note
Part alloy (aluminum alloys such as ADC12, A380, or AlSi grades as specified for the part) and mold steel (tool steel with appropriate hardness for die casting dies) are specified separately. Do not treat part-alloy hardness or surface treatments as mold-steel heat treatment.
