Materials note
Part alloy (aluminum alloys (e.g. ADC12, A380, AlSi grades) as specified for the part) and mold steel (tool steel with appropriate hardness for die casting dies) are specified separately. Do not treat part-alloy hardness or surface treatments as mold-steel heat treatment.
