With flexible production capabilities, we serve a wide range of industries and excel in both prototype development and bulk production of zinc components. This adaptability ensures we meet your specifications with precision. Utilizing advanced equipment and refined techniques, we expertly control the fluidity and essential properties of various zinc alloys. Our experienced team meticulously handles every stage of production to create parts that align perfectly with your company’s needs.
Through precise casting methods, appropriate assembly techniques, and strict oversight during the injection of molten zinc into molds, we guarantee the manufacture of superior finished products under optimal conditions.
Zinc die casting alloys
- Zamak 2, also known as Kirksite, is unique among the Zamak alloys as it is the only one used for gravity casting. It has the highest hardness and strength of the group, making it an excellent material for bearings that can eliminate the need for wear inserts in zinc castings.
- Zamak 3 is the most popular zinc die casting alloy. It provides a well-balanced combination of mechanical and physical properties, long-term dimensional stability, and superior casting quality.
- Zamak 5 contains more copper than Zamak 3, which makes it stronger but less ductile. It is easier to finish, plate, and machine compared to Zamak 3, and it is the most commonly used zinc die casting alloy in Europe.
- ZA8 is a zinc-aluminum alloy valued for its excellent plating and finishing qualities, making it ideal for decorative purposes. With 8.4% aluminum content, it is the only ZA alloy suitable for die casting.
